Frequently Asked Questions

Of course, many of your questions can be answered somewhere in this site, but we’ve compiled the most popular ones here.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! We accept them ENTHUSIASTICALLY. We love new faces, and appreciate your confidence to refer your friends and family.

Do you accept my insurance?

Yes, we accept many, many insurances. Most insurance policies cover chiropractic care. Here’s a list of insurance companies that we know cover our care.

Where'd you go to school?

Dr. Carr Graduated from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. It’s a sacrifice to graduate from there, since it’s not in the middle of a major metropolitan area, like every other chiropractic college is, so there really isn’t much to do there, but study. It’s for this reason that chiropractors who graduate from there advertise it. They just tend to be a little more dedicated, and the old saying is that “Palmer is to chiropractic what sterling is to silver.”

Do you specialize in anything?

As a matter of fact, we do. We specialize in auto accidents and related trauma cases, but that isn’t all we do. We see patients as old a 86, and our youngest patient, believe it or not, is two minutes old. Chiropractic is beneficial to almost everyone who tries it, but we love seeing patients in LOTS of pain come back in smiling later. It’s a feeling not many professions get to experience.

Isn't chiropractic quackery?

Oh, sure it is, just like gravity is only temporary, Martians exist, and Jimmy Hoffa is buried under the Space Needle. Chiropractic is based on sound principles, the primary one being that the nervous system controls and coordinates everything in the human body, and irritation of that system logically causes problems. Chiropractic care gently removes this interference, and restores the body’s natural healing and maintennance functions.

What about parking?

Okay, we agree that parking stinks downtown. We feel that, however, we are totally worth it.

My question isn't here!

Well, try visiting our site map page. It lists all of the pages in this site, and probably contains what you are looking for. If you can’t find it there, call our downtown Seattle office at (206)343-3325, and we’ll answer any questions you may have.
